3-Year Temporary Residence Card

STEP 1: BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• Passport must be valid and in good condition

• Clear scan of all passport pages (photo page clearly visible, no fingers)

• Criminal Record Certificate from home country with apostille (not required all the time)

• If holding any other EU TRC, PCC from that country with apostille is also required

STEP 2: PERSONAL INFORMATION REQUIRED

• Full name & father’s name

• Full name & mother’s name

• Eye color

• Height

• Marital status (single / married / divorced)

• Mother’s maiden name

• Whether surname has ever been changed

STEP 3: ABOUT THE PERMIT

• Valid for 3 years

• Allows legal stay and free movement within Slovakia & the Schengen area

STEP 4: SCHENGEN VISIT VISA (MANDATORY FOR TRAVEL)

⚠️Without a valid Schengen visit visa or EU TRC, travel to Slovakia is not possible.

🛂 Schengen Visit Visa – Applied Through Us

• Multiple-entry Schengen visa (90 days validity)

• Application assistance fee: 500€

❌ Not included in 500€:

• Embassy / VFS fees

• Travel medical insurance

• Flight tickets

📄 Financial requirement:

• Bank statement for the last 3–6 months showing sufficient funds

🕒 Stay rule:

• Maximum stay: 90 days within any 180-day period

STEP 5: PROCESS & TRAVEL TIMELINE

1️⃣ First Visit to Slovakia (after Schengen visa approval)

• Travel to Slovakia

• Self-declaration

• Document submission

• Fingerprinting at the local migration bureau

➡️ After submission, the applicant may return to the home country

2️⃣ Processing Time

• 1–2 months

3️⃣ Second Visit to Slovakia

• Travel again using the same multiple-entry Schengen visa

• Collect the residence card personally

STEP 6: TRC PROFESSIONAL FEES

✅ OPTION 1: Applicant holds valid residence visa or any EU TRC

• 1st payment: 1000€

• 2nd payment: 1500€

• 3rd payment: 1750€

➡️ Total TRC Fee: 4,350€

⚠️ OPTION 2: Applicant holding only a passport with no EU legal documents

• 1st payment: 3550€

• 2nd payment: 3550€

➡️ Total TRC Fee: 7,100€

⚠️ Applicable only for applicants staying in Europe holding only a passport with no EU legal documents

STEP 7: TOTAL PROFESSIONAL FEES PAYABLE TO US

• Option 1 Total (TRC):

➡️ 4,350€

• Option 2 Total (TRC + Schengen application):

➡️ 7,600€ (7,100€ + 500€)

❌ Excludes embassy fees, insurance, flights, and living expenses

STEP 8: 90-DAY STAY COST IN SLOVAKIA (2026) (Optional if you stay the entire period of your stay in Slovakia)

💶 TOTAL 90-DAY STAY COST (2026)

➡️ 8,300€ – 12,000€

⚠️ Entire stay cost must be fully covered by the applicant

⚠️ This amount should be reflected in the bank statement for Schengen visa purposes

💡 If your budget is low, you may stay in Slovakia for 3–5 working days only for the submission process, return to your home country, and travel again at the time of TRC collection. This can save a significant amount of money.

STEP 9: IMPORTANT NOTES

• No refund if SIS issues appear during fingerprinting

• For buying property, car, business, or loans – consult a financial advisor

• For renewal after 3 years / PR after 5 years:

– Monthly tax approx. 400€

– Not mandatory unless planning renewal or PR

• Immigration laws may change; future changes are not our responsibility
